Dear Ms. Synder,
My Great-Great-Great Grandfather was also named James Brennan(Unsure of Middle Name). He was born in 1845, was married to a Bridget Whalen (1848) immigrated to Nj in 1869/70, and had at least 7 children Catherine,Mary,Edmund,Timothy,Bridget,Peter, and Margaret. I don't know if this is of any use to you, but i hope it is.
