Looking for information on James Brennan, born about 1815 and son of Martin and Mary __ Brennan. I believe his brothers were Martin, Lawrence and possibly Thomas. Other Brennans who were probably cousins are Garret and James. All Brennans were stone masons, but I have been unable to find any Irish documents.
James emigrated in 1846. He married Margaret Leahy, daughter of Michael and Mary Cody Leahy, in Watervliet in 1847. I believe that Margaret is also from Kilkenny.
