Hi Melanie,
My maternal grandmother was a McLeay and I think that her father must have married a Bremner because I know for a fact that that name is on the Bremner side of my family tree. Also I have heard of John Joseph Bremner before but whether or not it is from my tree or from some other source I don't rightly know at present.
At present I am on "holiday" in North Lincolnshire England and have found time to potter around with this web-site for the first time. I don't however, have access to any of my genealogical records and and so I can't be very specific at present. I do know however, that on the Bremner side I know very little anyway but if you could help me out I would be very pleased. I will be returning to New Zealand on the 16th July and I hope to hear more from you.
