Emaline “Emmy” Caroline Mahon, the daughter of Bernard “Ben” and Rose Hoffman Bremer, was born on June 6, 1927 in Wilmont, MN. She grew up and attended school in Wilmont. Emmy was united in marriage to Victor Loosbrock on July 23, 1946 in Iona, MN. After their marriage they lived in Slayton, St. Killian and Fulda. After Victor’s death in September of 1962 she went to work at the Kilbride Bakery and later for Campbell's Soup in Worthington. Emmy married Wilford Mahon on October 28, 1967 in Fulda, MN. In 1987 Emmy retired from Campbell’s Soup and Wilford passed away in September of 1987. After her retirement she continued living in Fulda. Emmy entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in April of 2006 and passed away there on Monday, September 11, 2006 at the age of 79. She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the WCCW. Emmy enjoyed fishing, puzzle books and spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons, Rod Loosbrock and his wife, Lydia of Fulda, MN and Ben Loosbrock of Fulda, MN; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two brothers and their spouses, Wilfred and Anna Bremer of Finely, ND and Lloyd and Helen Bremer of St. Peter, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Victor Loosbrock and Wilford Mahon and two sisters, Anna Mae Lais and Marion Frerk.

Funeral Services at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 15, 2006 with the Fr. Bob Horihan officiating. The organist is Mary Ann Boom. The soloist is Kristy Johnson. The pallbearers are Corey Loosbrock, BJ Loosbrock, Jason Loosbrock, Andy Loosbrock, Mike Banks and Jason Camacho. Interment at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Cemetery Fulda, MN.

DATELINE FULDA: visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda with a 4:30 rosary and a 6:30 prayer service at the funeral home and visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
