Dear Connie,
At first, thanks for U message! There is a little mistake in my entry, the name was Wilhelm (it's the german name for William I think). Perhaps he was called William in the states of america. And he hasn't any brothers, only three sisters called Ernestine, Wanda and Hulda. Their surname was "Tonn".Only Ernestine was married with a "Bremer". They all lived in Germany/Poland, not Luxembourg, sorry. (My english is horrible, I'm sorry)
But I have some questions:
Where do you come from? Do you live in the near of Minnesota? There are so many people with surname "Tonn" and "Bremer"! And many of those families came from Posen or Poland and went to Minnesota. Do you heard from Ernestine Bremer or Naoma (Bremer?), her daughter? Ernestine lived in South Haven, Wright, Minnesota. She died in the year of 1968. I found her in the Death Index. And she is the person I search for!
And a little help for you: I believe there was an entry in the "Bremer"-Forum where somebody is searching for "Bremer" family members from Luxembourg? Or somebody named Michael Bremer? Have a look. Ok, good luck!
Bye Janina
