My husband's grandmother was CLARA BELLE BRYTHUP or BRITCUT, English version spelling! She was born 25 Nov 1859 in St. Joseph Twnshp, Berrien Co., Minn. She married MARVIN SHERMAN 6 Aug 1882 in Pine Island, Minn. Later moving to Castleberry, Ala. They had 12 or 13 children. They later moved up to Anacortes, Wa the past 25 years of her life. Could this very well be a "BREITHAUPT" for her maiden name, she was definitely GERMAN!!! Please contact me at Thank you very much!!!
