Hello Juanita,

I'm sorry that I also don't have anything on your Ben. It is very possible that Brahm is Brehm. On the ship listing from Russia, my family was spelled Brahm. However, Brahm is a very common name also.
Do you know if your ancestors are Germans from Russia?

There is an origization called the American Historial Socity of Germans from Russia.
The Portland local is: http://www.ahsgroregon.com/
They have compiled alot of information on the Germans in their area.

There is the 1920 census of Portland. Main pg.
http://www.webbitt.com/volga/usa-census.html#or
It has a Brahm, Louis 26 Portland

Also in the 1920 census - Multnomah County.
Iver Brehm b abt 1891
Louis Brahm b abt 1894
Marie Brahm b abt 1895
Reuben Brahm b abt 1915
Benjamin Brahm b abt 1916

If you find your ancestor spelling is Brehm, please let me know. I would love to connect your line to mine.
Thanks and good luck!!
