My ancestor,Georg Philip Brehm (ca 1727-1776),a butcher probably from Saxony,,was on a victualling list in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1752.He was married to Elizabeth Heller, possibly the daughter of Johann Casper Heller from the Palatinate.
His son, Christian(ca 1759-1827), was a farmer and lived at Fletcher's Bridge/ Wellington, Nova Scotia. He married first, Mary Biggs, and 2nd, Elizabeth Kephard. He probably died in Halifax.
His daughter, Ann Barbara Brehm(ca 1787-1832),ran (with her husband,Robert Fletcher)), Fletcher's Inn/18 Mile House, a stagecoach stop of the Halifax-Truro road.
Please email me if this is your line or you have the ancestry of Georg Philip Brehm. We have more recent info.
