My paternal grandmother, Elsie May Breeze, was born in Shropshire, England on September 30, 1893. She emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's, settling in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On December 7, 1915, she married Andrew Halbert, an immigrant from Glasgow, Scotland.
Unfortunately, Elsie died in September, 1927, when my father was only 4 years of age. As a result, I know nothing about my grandmother's origin or family.
I am in dire need of information.
