Wanda L. Breese
Mrs. Wanda Louise (Stephens) Breese, 77, a longtime Bartlesville resident, died at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Jane Phillips Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Breese will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the Memory Chapel of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. Rev. Daniel Tidwell of the Baptist Temple in Bartlesville will be the officiant. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the White Rose Cemetery by The Arnold Moore Funeral Service.
Wanda Louise Breese will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for their visitation on Friday and until the service hour on Monday afternoon.
An Oklahoma native, Wanda Louise Breese was born February 29, 1928 near Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Clarence Herman Stephens and Mabel Leola (Colder) Stephens. She was reared and began her education in the Bartlesville schools and completed her education in Garden City, Kansas. She and Earl Homer Breese were united in marriage at Sedan, Kansas on December 31, 1945 and they made their home in Bartlesville. Mr. and Mrs. Breese had residences in Garden City, Kansas, Amarillo and Longview, Texas and Ardmore, Oklahoma in addition to Bartlesville. Wanda worked as a Dietary Supervisor for SAGA Food Services and for the Marriot Corporation from which she was retired. Earl preceded her in death on April 7, 1985.
Wanda was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Bartlesville.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Lee Breese and Juanita, of Ulysses, Kansas and Perry Lee Breese and Lois, of Bartlesville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ms. Virginia Louise Crabtree of Bartlesville and Mrs. Marilyn Lucille Ainesworth and Eddie of Parsons, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sandra Breese, Bartlesville, her 21 grandchildren, Patricia, David II, Chris, Shawn, Roy, Tammy Jo, Karen, Bailee, Gennie, Jeff, Amy, Amber, Deana, Clinton, Jessica, Zack, Jennifer, Jerry II, Ben, Angie and Treva; her 26 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Darren, Dolton, Alie, Robert, Katrina, Kayla, Tonya, Chad, Jamie, T.J., Mikayla, James, Chase, Wesley, A. J., Koby, Jerry III, Bernenbino, Kami, Jered, Donavahn, Mercedes, Addisyn, Aryana and Ameelya; a brother, Lyle Stephens and his wife, Joan, Bryant, Arkansas; and a sister, Mrs. Doris Smith and her husband, Bill of Bartlesville. In addition to her husband, father and mother, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dale Richard Breese on August 19, 2000 and David Earl Breese on September 6, 2002; four brothers, Darrell, Keith, Forrest and Don Stephens; two sisters, Mrs. Rosalyn "Rosie" Aaron and Miss Nadine Stephens and a great grandson, Kyle Wickham.
