I do not know who Samuel's parents were. He was born in 1821 and in 1845 he married Eliza Donaldson (b. 1824 in Ohio, probably the daughter of Mathew Donaldson and Jane Rusk). I know a bit more of Eliza's ancestry, but have no idea about Samuel's parentage other than that wile he seems to have lived in Perry Co., Ohio he may have had a connection with Fort Wayne, Indiana.
