Hello, I am looking for info on Thomas Breen b. I believe in Ireland d. in Canada bet. 1862 and 1864. Thomas married Bridget Murphy b. 1828 Ireland d. 1912 MI. Thomas and Bridget had two children: Mary Breen b. 1860 Canada, and Daniel Breen b. 1862 Canada. Thomas died in a logging accident bet. 1862 and 1864. Bridget then married Bernard "Barney" Hitchingham. Bernard and Bridget had son John Hitchingham while still living in Canada in 4-1865. The family then moved to Michigan where the Breen children used the Hitchingham family name. Bernard and Bridget had two more sons in Michigan, Thomas b. 1867 and James b. 1869. Bernard committed suicide in 1888 in MI and Bridget was left with the children. She and the children spent the rest of their lives in Washtenaw Co., MI area.
