Hi Yvonna,
I believe that Tona is the daughter of Jan De Fouw and Anna Bazen. She immigrated with her parents to the United States aboard the steamer Scholten and arrived in New York, USA on September 4, 1880. Jan De Fouw and Anna Bazen were married in Sint Maartensdijk, Netherlands on May 12, 1859. Jan passed away and Anna remarried and lived to a ripe old age.

The family went to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have more information on the kids of this couple as well as a picture of Antonia and Evert if you are interested.

I am also interested in your Breen connection. I have a rather sizeable Breen database with families that immigrated to New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Washington and the other Dutch strongholds in America. I look forward to hearing from you further.

Blessings.
