My GG Grandfather was John Breen born about 1842 Co Kerry Ireland and i think died 1922 in Invercargill Southland New Zealand arrived on the Rakaia Ship arrived on the 07.02.1875 TO Canterbury New Zealand married on the 05 October 1872 in Tralee Kerry to Bridget Horgan (O'Connor) born abt 1844 Co Kerry Ireland died 09 Oct 1899 Timaru Canterbury NZ parents of John and Mary Breen nee White but we ant sure if this is right or not we think it would be the right parents of John Breen if it is his brothers were Thomas Breen b 1831 Co Kerry Maurice Breen b 1834 Co Kerry and Patrick Breen b 1844 Co Kerry if any of John Breens brothers names mean anything could be connection well my G Grandfather was Thomas Christopher (Tom) Breen b 01.02.1881 Timaru Canterbury NZ died 30.01.1941 Christchurch Canterbury NZ married Helen Louisa (Nelly)Hayes you see my Grandmother was Mary Veronica Dolheguy (Breen) married Alf Dolheguy so if anyone in NZ or Ireland or anywhere i would love to hear back from you
