Mrs. S. T. Ford
Funeral services were held at the Pentecostal Holiness Church Saturday afternoon for Mrs. S. T. FORD, long time resident of Healdton, who was affectionately known as Mother Ford. Evangelist S. E. STARK of Oklahoma City, former pastor of the church and a close family friend, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. LAMAR COGNELL, pastor of the church, and Rev. C. H. WILLIAMS of Guthrie. Special songs included “Rock of Ages,” “Safe in Jesus,” and “Precious Memories.” Pallbearers were grandsons, JESTER and LESTER LOONEY, ARGUS JOHNSON, WILLIAM MCBRIDE, Sgt. L. TURNER and ARTHUR TURNER.

MAHOLIE ELIZABETH BREDDING / BREEDEN was born January 12, 1871 in Benton, Illinois and passed away at age of 75 years. In 1885 she married HUGH HERRING at Clarendon, Arkansas and to their union were born two children. He preceded her in death. In 1891 she married SAMUEL T. FORD at Tyler, Texas and to this union were born five children. The family moved to Healdton in 1916.

She was a charter member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and lived a devoted Christian life until her death. She will be sadly missed in this community. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.

Surviving are her husband, S. T. Ford of Healdton, and three daughters, Mrs. FRANK MCBRIDE and Mrs. VICE TURNER of Healdton, and Mrs. LOIS NESMITH of Gainesville, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
