Ann,
I currently own the land in Fayette, Co., TX, where David and Sarah settled in 1833, and were subsequently buried. However, I have been unable to prove a connection between this, and my branch of the Breeding family. David had two known brothers, John and Richard Landy. There was said to be a fourth brother, Enoch, but to my knowledge, this has never been documented.
No one has proven a link between this branch of the family and the Wythe County Breedings. David claimed that his family originated in Wales, as mine did. Also, David's family shows up in Greenbrier Co., now WVA, while my ancestors were in neighboring Randolph Co., prior to coming to Adair Co., KY. Interesting, but no proof.
