Pat,

The information regarding Gen. Robert Smith and the transportation of 38 persons, including George Breeding, is found on page 32 of Cavaliers and Pioneers. The spelling of the name is interesting, as it dates back to 1667. The name, George Breeding, shows up in King and Queen County in 1683 and 1704, as well.
