“N.B. Breeden Passes On Saturday At Age Of 74 Years---Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Hopewell Baptist Church for Newton B. Breeden. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Breeden was 74. He died at his home at 10:10 a.m. Saturday. He was a life-long resident of Monroe County and a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Breeden; one son, Vaughn of Alcoa; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Henderson of Vonore, Mrs. Guthrie Williams of Madisonville and Mrs. Juanita Parks of Portsmouth, Va.”
