I am researching Mary Breeden to ascertain if she is one of the Breedens of Sevier County that is part of my husband line. He is a Hurst and the Hursts' and Breedens' married back and worth over several generations. Mary Breeden lived in Sevier County in the 1890's. She appears to have been a widow and had several children but I am only sure of the names of 3 of them: a son Jesse, a daughter Bell (possibly her middle name) and a daughter Martha. She was beaten and killed and the 2 girls were beaten by the White-caps in May of 1893 in Sevier County. I need the name of her husband and her maiden name as well as any other info that would help me tie her to our Breedens......or not.
