Wondering if anyone has made a connection between the "Breeden" family and the "Beeding" family of Montgomery county Maryland.
I have never found Joseph Breeden on a census for Calvert county but thier is a Joseph Beeding on the 1790 and 1800 Montgomery census records.

BY 1810 all traces of this family grouping are gone from Montgomery County.
Looking at the actual records the name could be transcribed as Beeding or Breding with a shortened "R".
If not the line from Calvert then it maybe a place to look for one of the other son's of Mark Breeden of Maryland.
I do not have a direct connection to this line simply researching it as I frequently run into descendents of it as I research the family line of Richard "Cross" Breeding of Culpepper County Virginia.
