Frances E. Breazeale, b 14 Feb 1829, d 26 Sept 1885, Anderson, SC. Daughter of Enoch Breazeale ( b 14 Dec 1799) and Nancy Gambrell (b 3 Mar 1794) (more info on Gambrell's in file). Frances was the grand-daughter of Kenon (Sometimes spelled Cannon or Kennon), b Aug 1759 VA, and Haskey Sarah Griffin, b 1767 (more info on Griffins) According to the book, "Breazeale Kin," by Lois Davis Plotts, this would make Frances the great - grand - daughter of Henry, b VA??, d @ 1770, Abbeville Co, S.C., who married Elizabeth Kennon, daughter of Richard and Agnes Bolling Kennon.
William Russell Duckworth, b @ 1821, Anderson, SC, d. 16 Mar 1888, Anderson County, SC. was the son of Jacob Duckworth (b @ 1770) and Annie Welborn (more info available). He was the grandson of Jeremiah Duckworth and Christian Ramsy and great grandson of Jospeph Duckworth, born before 1718, died 1769 in Cumberland, N.C., and Esther Ong, born ? in N.J., and great great grandson of William Ducksworth, b @ 1695 and Grace ? , b NJ., AND.....
great great great grandson of John Duckworth, born ?, in Lancashire, England, died @ 1698 in St. Mary's Parish, MD.
Besides going to the library, I would definitely make plans to go to the Breazeale Family Reunion. I believe that it is scheduled for 14 August at Dorchester Baptist Church, in Anderson, South Carolina. I believe that you could obtain more details by contacting Jan at janstill@aol.com.
