Barbara Breazeale and John Rogers marriage is recorded in Dr. Moses Waddell's marriage book and the same marriage date is recorded in Uncle William Moses Rogers Bible. John Rogers bought a lot of boxes and sundry items at Mary Breazeale's estate sale. The Paul Rogers that bought items from Drury Breazeale's estate was John's 1st cousin. John and Barbara had 4 sons and 3 daughters: Patrick Simpkins (my line), Joseph Jefferson, Simeon H., Middleton Drury, Eliza Ann, Sophia Sarah, and Carolina Sarina. After John died in 1832, the whole family moved to Florida except Simeon, who moved to Alabama with the Breazeales. Barbara died sometime between 1840 and 1850 (according to Eliza's obituary) and Patrick and Joseph returned to SC in 1849. I live in Thomson, GA now and get up to the Willington area fairly regularly. Most of the Rogers info Sarah and Dan Juengst has at the history center there came from me. Maybe one day we can get together and compare notes. By the way, the Abbeville Probate Court let me Xerox records several years ago so I have actual copies of Drury and Mary's Wills and the returns from the Estate sale after Mary died. I actually think the Isaac Bouchillon in the Estate records may be a son in law. And yes, all the Milfords in the area are related, including Abbeville, Anderson, Columbia, Richmond, McDuffie, Hart, Stephens, Franklin and Greenwood counties. I'll send you the descendents of Barbara and John Rogers directly later this weekend. Notify Administrator about this message?
