I have a copy of the handwritten will of this Drury Breazeale. It was written on a very large piece of paper which is not xeroxable...they won't let you take it from the Abbeville County SC courthouse to be xeroxed. Although he was a lawyer and estate appraiser here, at the time of his death he did not much as far as material pass ons...he left his wife all properties, Mary Woods Breazeale, which she was forced to auction off to pay debts. Her son, Michael Breazeale, brother of my gggrandfather John Bloker Breazeale was the only one left to handle her affairs at her death. John Blocker Breazeale went to Alabama in 1818 with Aiken Breazeale, Kennons son, and John died there in 1839 of fever...leaving seven children orphan as his wife died too a few years later of the same tropical fever many died from along the Alabama River near Selma. I can type out the will..but it only deals with sadles, horses, tack, and few personal belongings. He laments the thought of death and ponders the whereabouts of his children.
