I am specifically searching for date of birth / date of death / information for my great-grandfather's siblings, although finding actual descendants of any would be best of all! My great grandfather, James Robert Breazeale, was born on 8 August 1869 and died on 17 November 1950 in SC.
According to his death certificate, his father's name was "Jimmy" Breazeale and his mother's name was Elizabeth Riggins, who was the daughter of Sion Riggins and the grand-daughter of Powell Riggins. The Riggins family was first in North Carolina, and then in the Old Pendleton District of South Carolina (Pickens County, SC)
This particular Breazeale branch may have moved out of the state of SC and later returned as I have not been able to locate them in census reports for that time frame in South Carolina. From associated family information, I understand that the siblings of my James Robert Breazeale were:
Nancy Elizabeth (Sadie?) Breazeale, born ?, died ?, who reportedly married J. W. McCurry in SC.
Thomas Breazeale, who reported died at about age 10.
Columbus Breazeale (Bunny?) , born ?, died ?, who reportedly married Lula Jane Richards.
Sara Josephine Breazeale, born ?, died ?, who reportedly married William J. Styles.
I believe that this particular branch of Breazeales may have had ties to the Scott family in the Abbeville / Anderson / Pickens county area of SC, particularly to a Robert Scott or William Scott or a Lum Scott or Columbus Scott, or possibly to a Columbus Breazeale. (A William Scott was mentioned in the will of Willis Breazeale of Abbeville, SC)
There may also be connections to the family of a Sarah Delashaw, Sarah Dillishaw or DeLa Chaux / De La Chaux, whose family was also from the Abbeville / Anderson County area of SC.
I am interested in corresponding with & sharing information with anyone researching this or any lost Breazeale (or variant spelling) line in the S.C. area, or any Breazeale ( or variant) in any state sharing the given names: Charles Breazeale, Perry Breazeale, Samuel Breazeale, James Breazeale, Marion Breazeale, Frances Breazeale / Francis Breazeale.
