Bonsoir Theodore,
You posted: [ My great grandmother just pased away and her name was Artemease McNair. I have been trying to find out information about my family for a while. Here is her obituary "Artemease McNair, 95, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 in Gulfport, MS. Mrs. McNair was a homemaker and lived in Biloxi and Gautier. She was preceded in death by her parents Williams Seaman and Mary Bertrand; Her first husband Theodore Breaux, Sr.;her second husband, John McNair; a son Theodore Breaux Jr.; six sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include a son, Charles Hester of Gulfport; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren." I hope this helps in finding out more information about my father's side of the family who is Charles Joseph Breaux, born August 18, 1944. Thank you!]
I suspect that Artemease was in fact an Arthemise. Can you put your line here: father and mother (maiden name) plus grandparents Breaux with grandmother's maiden name.
Maybe I can help because I have a very big Breaux database.
Au revoir,
