No and I can't find any census reference. Always possible he immigrated after the 1860 census, married, had the 3 kids, then died. Be just like a Brasington.

I still think he is tied to Samuel Brasington. I have contacted every Historical Society and Township in the area, looking for Orphanages or newspaper article. ZIP.

I have not ruled out the UFO possibility. I am quite sure I have a gr gr grandfather who came from Mars on a UFO in the early 1800's.
