Hi, Christel
Immigrants who were less than 60 years old in 1938 had to register for a Foreign Identification Card, known among us as Mod. 19, or RE, and later RNE. This is not to say that everyone who registered became a Brazilian citizen or, in other words, have naturalization papers.
To look for naturalization papers you can google "jusbrasil jaworski". It will display matches found in D.O.U (Diario Oficial da Uniao, the Government official newspaper). In portuguese, look for "naturalizacao". If you want to see the newspapers in PDF format you will have to subscribe (free).
I have looked for Jaworski, Jaworsky, Javorski and Javorsky and found nothing.
To request the Mod. 19 for Zdzislaw you would have to know at least the state where he was living in 1938 and the name of his parents.
Gilberto
