I am looking for information on Joseph ALAKAVISH/ALKAVISH, who is believed to be from Poland and to have traveled from Liverpool, England to Sao Paolo, Brazil for work around 1891. He and his wife, Sarah, has a daughter, Miriam, who was born in Sao Paolo and died there while only a few months old. ALAKAVISH is believed to be an anglicized name, but we don't know from what. Any leads or suggestions would be appreciated.
