Death in 1866 of my ancestor in Rio de Janeiro

One of my ancestors, Edvard Daniel August Lichtenberg, died in Rio de Janeiro on 10th April, 1866. He was shipmaster on the brig "Roska" of Denmark. I would be very happy if I could be informed what I possibly can do further to search information on his faith, ie. cause of death, burial in Rio etc.
