GROSSJEAN in Brazil around 1830

Looking for any leads on Eleanor GROSSJEAN who married Robert CRAIGIE in Rio de Janeiro in about 1830.

Eleanor was the daughter of Victor GROSSJEAN, a botany professor in Rio di Janeiro, and believed to be French - or at least French-speaking, as surviving letters from Robert to Eleanor are in French.

Robert and Eleanor were not married in the Anglican Church in Rio de Janeiro (though their two children were baptised there in 1831 and 1834), so I am also looking for clues about surviving Brazilian catholic parish marriage records.

best wishes

David
