Birth records ( usually from 1889) except for big cities)and death and Marriages go to www.. On the right side of the screen click on Cadastro de Cartorios.Next page select the desired state onthe map and clickon that. Now select the town (municipio) in that State and then select nascimento or obito or casamento in atribuicao.
This will give you a listg of all the Civil register Offices inthat town that has records concerning BMD.Most have webpages or e-mail addresses plu telephone and fax numbers. Petertimber
