There appears to be something wrong..there is no record for Ferreria and the ship and records for the Australind on the usual haunts wghichis perplexing. Fact sheet #56 for passenger records held in Perth reflect thatmicrofilm records for fgreemantle start in 1898 and a list of passengers arriving at Albany between 1873 and 1925 is held on microfiche Copies are held by the WA genealogical Society and Library and Information service of WA. Try State records office in perth (08)9427 3360 or fax 08 9427 3368...www.liswa.gov.au/statercoff.html

As for Brazil and Rio De Janerio go to www.arquivonacional.gov.br...send them a message in the bottom of page as outlined in the "formulario" link IN PORTUGUESE with the required data (Ferreira is very common surname) so turn the statue of St. Anthony upside down. Petertimber nyc
