Ferrari Family in Southern Brazil

I honestly don't know much about my grandfather (mother's side) for he passed before I was born. I know his name was Nilses Ferrari and I think he worked for the railroad union "Ferrovia". I do not know where he was from originally but I know he settled down to raise his family in Ponta Grossa, Parana.

It would be great if I could find some information about my grandfather's heritage.
