It is difficult to find info on Italians going to Brazil. My great-grandfather went from Italy to Brazil in the late 1880's and then to the USA in 1901. I got records of my grandfather and his brothers and sister who were born in Brazil, but I knew the name of the town where they were born. To get records, you have to contact the right office or you will hit a dead end.
Try posting your inquiry on the Brazil List at rootsweb: BRAZIL-L@rootsweb.com
If you have info try: http://www.italians-world.org/Italy/BancaDatiGb.htm
In Sao Paulo, Brazil there is a museum of the immigrants: http://www.memorialdoimigrante.sp.gov.br

Hope this helps.
Richard
