I have been researching my Allen family also. My Thomas Allen went to Brazil although I don't know when he left England. He was born in 1865 in Stoke on Trent. All I really know is that his wife Elizabeth had been married before to a Ralph Inskip in England. Somehow they wound up in Brazil, I'm guessing she went with her first husband and his children from his first marriage. I don't know if her first husband died in Brazil or what, but the only information I have is that in 1892 Eliabeth was married to Thomas Allen and they had 2 children born in Brazil, and she and the children came to the USA that year. I think Thomas Allen came before her as I found him in a city directory in Trenton, NJ in 1891. I've been trying to fill in the gaps. Your names don't sound familiar so I don't think its the same family, but it was interesting since they both went to Brazil.
