My great great grandfather John BRAZIER was born in Birmingham on 26/10/1857. I have no details of his parents. He married Mary Amelia Jones BUCKLEY (no date of birth or details of parents known) on 09/02/1873 in the All Saints Church, Birmingham. Their son, William BRAZIER was born around 1876 in the UK (possibly Birmingham). The family (probably including at least one other son ?Thomas?) migrated to Mackay in Queensland Australia arriving in July 1883. A childhood friend, John WILKES and his wife Emily and children (nee ???) also migrated to Mackay at the same time. Mary BRAZIER and John WILKES both died within the next couple of years and John BRAZIER and Emily WILKES later married and went on to become well-known potters and brick-makers in SE Queensland. I'm keen to know whether my BRAZIER origins fit into your family tree at all or if anyone else might have any additional information which might assist me. I have more information on our part of the BRAZIER family in Queensland, Australia if anyone is interested.
