Martha, I'm sorry I missed your answer. My wife, Patti, is a descendant of John Brasier, thru his son Leroy, b. Dec 1846. Leroy married Sarah Jane Brasher, dau of Thomas R. Brasher. I can not prove the parents of John Brasier nor Thomas R. Brasher. John, I believe, is the son of Elijah Brazier, who lived in Blount Co. for a while, then moved to Fayette Co. Elijah was the son of John Brasher, b. 1736.
Thomas R. Brasher, I believe, was the son of Samuel Brasher, who died in 1818, in South Carolina.
