Hello Barry
I don't know if you're still there after all these years but my brother and I have recently started to research our mother, Marjorie Brazier - and have heard from David/Ian who have the Brazier Website in UK. Our mother's father, Stanley Brazier, is a son of an Alfred Brazier (born 1853, Essex, Gt. Sampford) who married a Francis (but no last name)and also one of 13 siblings. Stanley had a brother "Fred" who was 6 years older (born in 1887)with most of the siblings having been born in Surrey (Clapham), Battersea and Brixton. Stanley and one of his brothers, Harold (4 yrs older) immigrated to Canada early 1900s, before WW1.
Have you been able to find out anything more about your father William Alfred born to Alfred Brazier? They also had an older brother "Ernest" (you mentioned an "Earn" but dates seem to be way off). There were 2 other brothers, Walter and Allan/Allen who also came to Canada. I don't know if there's any connection - just seems interesting as we start our search, that there are several "coincendinces" and thought I wud ask. As they say - it never hurts to ask! Hope you are still out there -
Regards, Geri
