Pleasant Brazier appears for the first time in 1830 in Marlboro Co. SC. He married Rebecca Marie Moore of whose family a great deal is said in The Stubbs of Marlboro Co. SC
He had 13 children of whom 11 lived past infancy. Does any one know of Pleasants parents? Pleasant was born around 1800 in North Carolina and his parents were born in VA according to the 1880 census. All of the other censuses report South Carolina.
