Pat, thanks for the posts.
Your first post today stated your problem clearly, and the supporting information you provided was detailed, consice, andgreat.
I have several genealogy files. In one, my Brazie working file for this effort, I insert only independently identified Brazies (by any surname) and their spouses. To simplify identifying relationships between individuals with differing surnames, I document the name as originally found, then assign each person an alias with the surname "Brazie".
A cursory scan of my file for John Brazie, John Watson Brazie, Earl O Brazie, and Roy Watson Brazie did not produce any matches. A scan for Olmstead did produce one match. A Timothy Brazie (Brasee) married a Malinda Olmstead June 01, 1844 in Davenport, Delaware, New York and produced one child named Andrew (that I know of so far).
I have established a separate working file called Brazie-Pat where I have placed key info about the individuals you noted. If and when I can connect them, I'll merge them with my working file and let you know.
Regarding your second post, thanks for the correction and the info. I would have spent some time trying to figure out where Davenport County was located. I have not researched Delaware County yet. I took a quick look and decided it would take days (or weeks) to collate the info available there.
I have found Christophel Bresee and Christeanna Claesjens. My count so far is that they had 16 children. I have found several of their grandchildren, and about 700 other Brazies which I have not yet connected to them. The file keeps growing. Your input makes great reading, and leads me in directions where I might not have gone.
Thanks
Bruce
