I posed your question to a friend who is helping me tremendously to understand the Brazie lines in New York.
She is fairly confident that your William Brusie is a son of Andreas (Bresee/Bresie/Briese) and Sussanna (Cline/Kline/Klein). I had a start on their family, and she has given me two additions, William and Charles, whom I have added to my file. I assign each member (excluding spouses) an alias surname of "Brazie", preserving the name as originally found.
Here is what I now have on Andreas and Sussanna's family. If you confirm any of it, I would appreciate knowing, either by a post to this message board or an email.
