There was a John Wesley Brazzil b. 1825 in Coryell County Texas (not far from Waco). He died in 1905 in Coryell County and had 13 children with Emily Delafield. None of those children were named John Wesley, but its quite possible that one of his sons named their sons after the original John Wesley. 1898 would have been about the right time for the birth of John Wesley's grandchildren.

I don't have too much on this line (it currently stops at John Wesley for me and I don't have full descendent lines except my own (which does not contain a John Welsey) but I'd be happy to offer what I have as help.

P.S. you should check Coryell County on GenWeb. They have the 1910 Census imaged with an index and a transcribed copy of the 1880 census
