I want to thank Richard for his reply. I was searching for sibs and parents of James, the father of Malachi who is my Great, great grandfather. However I can help you with a few dates and names in your search.
Sarah Julia Ann Brazelle, daughter of Malachi and Nancy (Patterson) Brazelle was married to Samson Berry Briscoe on 12/24/68. She was born in 1851 in Jackson co. Al. I am in contact with descendants of hers.
William and Malissa (Brazelle) Roberts were married 7/9/69 according to the papers my cousin sent me. Malissa was married again in 1/7/85 to John Busby, brother to Mary Malinda Busby, wife of William Marshall who is a brother to Malissa. I have no dates for William Roberts. sorry
I have not researached the Patterson line. You are ahead of me here. I do have papers (copies of old records) that show Nancy Patterson requesting widows benifits from Malachi having been in the Mexican war. The papers do state that Nancy had indeed gone blind by then.
