The Brazels that I am from were in Buena Vista County, Iowa, near Rembrandt.
My grandfather was Leo James and his father was James, as is my father, James Joseph.
It is believed that Leo's grandfather was from Ireland, coming to Iowa somewhere in the time of 1830-40's.
Does anyone have any links here?
