Seeking information to prove or disprove the parentage of John M Brazel. Some trees on Ancestry.com have his parents as J B "Job" Breazeal (and various spellings) and Mary B McLaurin. He was born about 1845 in Mississippi. I have unconfirmed info that states he was born in Lownes County. There is a 15 year old male named as J M in 1960 census of Jasper Co MS living with a J B and Mary Brazeel (spellig?). Just wondering if anyone have any other sources for trying John M to this family. Thanks for any help. I'm helping research John M's son Robert Pruitt Brazil who married my grandfather's sister, Carrie Lee Humphries. John M and his wife Martha lived in Attala Co Ms (1880), McLennan Co TX (1900), and Coryell Co TX (1910). Known children of John M Brazel and Mary B McLaurin are: M E "Molly", Robert Pruitt, John Edward, William H, and Ola Pearl
