Hi Aliene,

James R. was my great grandfather and his son, Charles Perry, born 27 Dec 1895 was my grandfather. (My grandfather, Charles Perry and Bonnie Suell's father, William Carl were brothers)

I have a gedcom file that I downloaded from the Old Pendleton District Genealogy Society that is available at:
http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/Delta/8155/
It is a huge file & a work in progress. I downloaded mine the first of May. It has a large amount of info on Breazeales.

It lists that the father of James Robert.was a James Washington Breazeale, who was married to Sara Elizabeth Riggins, daughter of Sion & Elizabeth Riggins. (James Robert is the only child listed) It lists that James married Mary Magadeline Moore and lists only William Carl (Bonnie's father) as their child. I don't know if Bonnie donated this info. or if there was some other source.

From census reports I can list the following additional children of James R. Breazeale and Mary Moore:
Claude C., b 1893, Annie, b 1894, Charles Perry, b 27Dec1895, Bertha, b 1898, William Carl, b 14 Apr 1900, Myrtle, b 1902, Walter L., b 1905, Clarence R, b 1907, Ola M., b 1909, Earl, b 1913, and Beatrice, born 1915. This was from the 1920 census and they lived in Piedmont, (Greenville Co, close to Anderson Co) SC at that time. I have not found James Washington listed on a census report.

The Old Pendleton File contains info on Samuel Perry, but does not show that Samuel Perry and James Washington are brothers. (Samuel Perry is as disconnected as my direct line!!) (We might not be disfunctional, but we're sure disconnected- from the main crowd of Breazeale's in this file!!)

I have been wondering myself if James Washington, born 1850 could have a close connection to Samuel Perry, born 1843, myself. Have you seen anything to confirm this? Many of the names I saw listed for descendants of Samuel Perry are names that repeat in my family. That is one reason I was wondering.

Do you have any idea who the parents of Samuel Perry &/or James Washington are?
I've been collecting info on all Breazeale's I can find in SC to try to sort it all out & find my missing connection. I'm out of state for the time being so I've been using the internet and there is a National Archives Regional office close by for census reports, etc. Nice to know someone else is searching too!!

Hope to talk with you again,
Betty Cooper
