BREAZEALE DNA Project?

Dear Breazeales--

We Braswells now have a DNA testing program that is revealing some interesting and surprising results. Our scores so far are posted at http://braswellfamily.org/dna/results.htm.

As most of you probably know, the similarity in spelling of our two family names has caused no small amount of confusion, particularly here in the South. It is almost certain that some Braswells adopted Breazeale spellings--and vice versa.

Won't you please join us in this new genealogical venture and help us sort ourselves out once and for all? The benefits include confirming the validity of your research, defining the different genetic branches of the Breazeale clan, discovering cousins you never knew you had, etc.

We are using FamilyTreeDNA of Houston. The group cost is only $99 and is simple and painless. Just a couple of inner cheek swabs mailed back to FTDNA. It's a Y-chromosome test so it's for Breazeale surnamed men only. The ladies can get a male relative proxy.

Carey Bracewell,
Family Coordinator, FTDNA Braswell DNA Project
