I am a descendant of a Gideon Brayton b;May 26, 1742 in Portsmouth RI -m- Hannah Rimington they had
1) Asa b;1776 in RI -m- Sara Carr (My line)
2) Thomas Born Nov. 1, 1769
3) Gideon
4) Mary -m- Charles Royce
5) Abigail -m- Ichabod Brown
6) Hannah -m- Elijah Scott
7) Amy -m- Henry Edwards

I hope this is a help. I have more information on Gideon Sr.'s parents, if this is your family. I have also posted a message listed above yours. I have a copy of part of a book with the information listed above I will look to see if it has more on Gideion Jr. for you. Also the one listed below me is related to this line.
