Per the 1870 Iowa Census for Black Hawk Co, Clarissa Brayton born 1810 in New York. Widowed but husband was born in Canada. Children were Alonzo (born abt 1853 NY), Ezekiel (born 1842 NY), Margaret (born 1851 NY), and William (born 1832 Canada). William is found in the 1880 census in Black Hawk Co with his wife Ruth and children. Alonzo had moved to Jasper Co Iowa. I am a descendant of Alonzo. Hope this connects!
