Gideon/Ruth Brayton Question

I am a descendent of Maranda Content Brayton (1809-1849) who was married to James B. Lee (1803-1889). Her parents are listed as Gideon Brayton (1781-1851) and Ruth Brayton (1779-~1851).

Maranda's father Gideon Brayton's parents are listed as Joseph Brayton (b:1759) and Content Curtis (~1746-~1850). Joseph's parents are Gideon Brayton (1717-1792) and Rebecca Nichols (1719-1806).

Maranda's mother Ruth Brayton's parents are listed as Matthew Brayton (b:1759) and Nancy Carey (b:1779). Matthew Brayton's parent are Gideon Brayton (1717-1792) and Rebecca Nichols (1719-1806).

This would make Joseph and Matthew Brayton brothers. Thus, Maranda Content Brayton's parents, Gideon and Ruth Brayton, would be first cousins.

Can someone pleace help verify whether or not this information is correct?
